Chairman Ma Met with Thai BTS President Huang Ruiyao

On Aug. 15th, Chairman Ma Zhengwu and BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited’s  president and executive director Huang Ruiyao met in Beijing and friendly exchanged ideas on rail transport business and comprehensive development of logistics parks. China Logistics Chairman Liang Weihua was present on the meeting.

Chairman Ma extended warm welcome to the visitors and introduced the Group’s development in logistics business. He said the Group had been dedicated to the Go Out Strategy under the national strategic promotion of “One Belt, One Road” and hoped that BTS’s visit could create more opportunities and better conditions for rail transport cooperation between China and Thailand.

Chairman Liang Weihua made an in-depth communication on the aforementioned cooperation with the visitors. Both companies introduced their own history, development, strategic planning and transport status quo. Liang’s introduction focused on China Logitics’s features of its rail transport operation mode and scale, and Liang expected to establish the cooperation mechanism to promote the development of rail transport in both countries.

President Huang Ruiyao stressed that this visit brought fruitful achievements to BTS and welcomed Chairman Ma and Chairman Liang to inspect BTS which would lay the foundation of mutual cooperation.

Professor Miao Jianrui from Transport Department of Beijing Jiaotong University introduced the operation management laboratory project of China and Thailand that is being carried out.

BTS would visit enterprises under China Logistics in Wuhan and Chongqing.

BTS’s president, vice CEO and executive director Jiang Zhiqiang, financial director Surayut Thavikulwat, consultant of Bangkok Elevated Railway Company Prachak Manotham, and general manager of VGI China were among the visitors. China Logistics’s assistant general manager Deng Yushan and relevant staff were present on the meeting.
